Description:
Walnut inks, torn edges and de-embossing techniques give this friendship card a warm, trendy feel.
Required supplies:
- Craft Glue Dots
- Memory Book Glue Dots
- Floral Stamp Set, (Hero Arts)
- Walnut Ink
- Staz-On Ink, black, (Tsukineko)
- Label holder, (Magic Scraps)
- Mesh
- Clear film
- White paper
- Cream card
Step-by-step instructions:
- Clear emboss the flower onto white paper.
- Paint the white paper with walnut ink. (This is a resist technique with embossing)
- Tear paper edges and set aside to dry.
- Using an iron set to high, iron to remove the embossing. (The iron will make the flower really stand out and flatten the paper)
- Stamp the "friends" definition onto clear film with black Staz-On Ink, and trim to the size of the label holder.
- Layer mesh and walnut painted paper onto cream card using Memory Book Glue Dots.
- Attach the label holder using Craft Glue Dots.
