Description:
This project allows middle school aged children to use their imaginations as they contemplate other lifeforms from another planet.
Required supplies:
- Mini Glue Dots
- Rigid poster board,
( dark blue, purple or black)
- Tempera paint
- White out pen
- Quilling tool
- Quilling paper
(varied thickness adds dimension)
- Small wiggle eyes
Step-by-step instructions:
- Begin by painting your planet ( paint can be applied liberally and in layers to add dimension)
- Use the white out pen to create stars and highlights
- Select your favorite aliens and colors and begin quilling alien parts
- Assemble the parts and wiggle eyes with Mini Glue Dots
- Apply the finished aliens to the painted board with Mini Glue Dots
- Tip: a gentle pinch on the completed alien parts will create hard edges and corners for horns etc.
