Ellsworth Adhesives Ltd Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification
East Killbride, UK (December 29, 2009)- Ellsworth Adhesives Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ellsworth Corporation, received expanded certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standards, 2 December 2009 for new operations added to the East Killbride facility. The certification renews certification of the Ellsworth Adhesives distribution business, and adds European operations for Glue Dots International and Kitpackers Ltd. NQA provided the certificate of registration.
Ellsworth Adhesives Ltd supplies industrial adhesives, sealants, coatings, electronic encapsulants, chemicals, and dispensing equipment to more than 1000 customers throughout Europe. With branch locations in Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Spain, and France, Ellsworth Adhesives Ltd is a major supplier of products from Dow Corning, Henkel/Loctite, Dymax, Bostik, Sika, Lord, OK International, Glue Dots International and many other leading suppliers.

Glue Dots International maintains production for Europe markets at the East Killbride location, and the Certificate of Registration covers those operations. John Downs, President of Glue Dots International based in New Berlin, WI USA, commented "Our business in Europe continues to expand very rapidly. This certification is an important next step in our plans to develop new production capabilities in Europe." Glue Dots International manufactures and markets pressure sensitive adhesives dispensed on release liner backing for Industrial and Consumer applications. Adhesive patterns range from dots to beads. The company also manufactures equipment for dispensing adhesive rolls.
KitPackers Ltd is a contract packager specializing in the packaging of adhesives, sealants, encapsulants, potting systems, and other specialty chemicals including silicone fluids. The certification is valid through 17 June 2010.
