New Beginnings

Jennie Stagliano, Editor

Welcome to our inaugural issue of The Dot Spot, a quarterly e-newsletter packed with great craft, scrapbook, kids craft and household projects, helpful tips and techniques and new product updates.

I need to confess that I'm a little intimidated and humbled to have been given editor responsibilities. My background was in broadcasting, not print. But a close friend, who happens to be one of the smartest people I know, encouraged me to always keep my focus on you.

The only way I know to maintain that focus is to keep my ears open and my mouth shut. Anyone who knows me, will quickly point out what a challenge that will be. So, I want to hear from you. Tell me what you think, what you find interesting, share your useful tips and express your biggest adhesive challenge. I invite you to share your creative selves at editor@gluedots.com. I sincerely hope you enjoy your newsletter, and please keep in touch.

US links have been removed projects and further information can be found at www.gluedotseurope.com

Warm Autumn Days Scrapbook Page

Cheri Cieslak, Contributing Editor

An unseasonably warm October day was perfect for hiking at our nearby state park. Our family life can be so hectic this time of year, so it was such a relief to have a free day to enjoy the last of the warm autumn temperatures and rich Wisconsin fall colors. My husband, son and I spent this Sunday afternoon hiking trails and enjoying nature and each other.
The papers, ribbon and large monogram compliment the rich earth tones found in the photos.

Keeping It Straight

Having trouble stamping in a straight line? A ruler and a few Removable Glue Dots help create a temporary guideline to keep stamped letters, borders or stickers straight and neat. Attach 3 to 4 Removable Glue Dots to the back of your ruler (works on plastic, wood or metal rulers). Position your ruler and start stamping. No more slipping and re-aligning worries. When you're finished Removable Glue Dots allow you to remove the ruler without tearing your paper.

Poster Glue Dots

Poster Glue Dots make it easy to hang posters and pictures without damaging walls. They form a strong, instant bond to drywall, plaster, cinder block, wood, metal and glass. Unlike tapes, putties or push-pins, Poster Glue Dots will not leave a residue or otherwise damage your walls.

Freightfully Funny Halloween Projects

Laurie D'Ambrosio, Contributing Editor

A big part of Halloween fun is decorating the house. This fun kid's project is not only a quick and easy decoration but makes for a spooktacular "Frankenjar" for candy. Help your kids apply the primer and let them create their own spooky container creatures.
